Heartfelt Thanks!

Good morning.......looks like my blog is working better today! I just gave up yesterday, thank heavens the rest of the day improved. August Technique classes continued at my house and they went so well. Great groups, both of them. We did Magic Layers, Rolling Marbles, the real shaving cream, Faux Leather and tie-dying Tissue. Now it's time to get my Christmas Stamp a Stack cards going. I'm a last minute Christmas shopper, so doing cards in September is really good for me! Of course I'll have a "Lovely as a Tree" card, that is my trademark and my all time favorite stamp set! About today's card.........another new technique called Faux tags. I used vellum, metallic cardstock, markers and square punches to create this pretty card. The background cardstock is Lovely Lilac, flowers from Heartfelt Thanks, and the words are from Sincere Salutations. I will be using a version of this technique at the September Stamp 10 meeting. We invite others to join us the second Tuesday of each month at my piano studio in Tully. This coming month will be our first addition of some scrapping. The hostess decides each time whether we include scrapbooking and Barb Hamlin has chosen to do some this coming meeting. It is a great group and we enjoy new faces. Thanks for stopping by this morning.
